We all know that there are many talented students on Rosary and Servite’s campus. Some play an instrument, some are masters of a certain sport and others may be especially artistic; there are multitudes of ways these students have expressed their talents within their school community. But, what about the hidden ones? What about the talents that these students have kept to themselves? To extract these hidden talents and share them with our fellow peers, we have employed the help of several Rosary and Servite students:
Elizabeth Braatz ‘27: Sewing
Sharing how this talent started at a young age, Elizabeth tells me, “I started at a sewing camp in third grade where I learned to make different bags and pencil pouches. I haven’t been doing it as much, but I’ve been wanting to pick it up again!” Sewing is a functional and therapeutic talent that is sure to stay with you.
Kayla Trevino ‘25: Piano
Playing an instrument has so many benefits both academically and mentally. Senior Kayla Trevino has played the piano since she was eight and shares that her “favorite song to play was Silent Night because I would play it for my family during the holidays.” A festive talent that is sure to come in handy during the holidays!
Pierre Balta ‘25: Drawing
Servite Senior Pierre Balta tells us his hidden talent is drawing and that he likes doing it in his freetime: “I think drawing is a really cool pastime. My favorite things to draw are definitely flowers.” Drawing is not easy, so this talent is definitely impressive!
Annalise Adamsen ’25: Mickey Mouse Impression
Lastly, we could not leave out this amazing skill from Senior Annalise Adamsen. I truly suggest you try listening to it sometime; you’ll think you’re talking to Mickey himself!
There’s no doubt Royals and Friars have many hidden talents. And who knows…you might have one too!
