Attending Rosary definitely comes with its perks, and one of them has to be the amazing faculty and staff we have! Throughout my three years here at Rosary, I have been lucky enough to have amazing teachers throughout all subjects. You also get to know their personalities and hobbies, so a good question to ask is: If teachers weren’t teaching, what would their job be?
To start off, let’s look at some of the Social Studies Department teachers. Mrs. LeClair currently teaches Psychology, Criminology and U.S. history. Due to her extensive background, I definitely see her as an FBI agent or as the host of a true crime show like Dateline. Secondly, Mrs. Ward teaches women’s history, AP Psychology and AP American Government. With her strong knowledge of government, I see her being a U.S. Representative or even a great reporter with her own opinion segment on a television network. Mr. Chavez, who currently teaches Intro to Law and American Government would make a great Supreme Court Justice or even the host of a show similar to Judge Judy.
Secondly, we’ll look at the English Department. Mrs. Langenwalter, who currently teaches English III, AP Lang, Mystery in Fiction and Lit into Film is known for her great fashion sense, so she would make a great influencer who posts “OOTDs” or has an extensive Amazon storefront. Ms. Brinegar ’16, who teaches English IV, AP Literature and Journalism would make a great author! The kind of author who sits in a coffee shop on a rainy day and has a coffee and a croissant while she brainstorms–the kind of author who stays anonymous but has a lot of awards. However, due to her love of sports, I definitely also see her as a football coach who breaks barriers and is the first female head coach in the NFL.
We also have some other standout faculty and staff from other departments. For example, Señora Kam would make a great tour guide, especially in the tourist part of Spain. Mr. Fusco would make a great finance bro; I definitely see him working on Wall Street. Mr. O’Campo would make a great professional baseball player, considering his love for the Dodgers. Mrs. Burboa, our amazing Dean and dance coach, would definitely be part of the permanent cast of Dancing with the Stars. Religion Department Chair Mrs. D’Alba, in my opinion, would make a great therapist or a bakery owner–two very different things, but both definitely fit her.

Growing up, I always wanted to be an FBI Agent! I would definitely not pass the physical fitness test though… I loathe running.
