Last Saturday, Rosary’s ASB put together a lovely Night of Jazz dinner and dance for Rosary students and their father figures. From the raffle baskets and beautiful centerpieces to the quality dad-time, Father-Daughter 2024 was definitely a night to remember!
One thing that made the night extra memorable was the thrilling dance competitions. In fact, the junior class’ dance competition got so heated that it took three rounds for Harper Clark ‘26 and her dad to take the win. Speaking on her win, Harper stated, “I had so much fun at the dance competition. I didn’t know my dad could breakdance. It was cool to see everyone having so much fun with their dads.”
For the senior dance competitions, Abby Zabala ’25 and her dad tore up the dance floor and came out champions. Their swing dance was especially a big hit!
Senior Sydney Hastert shared her thoughts on her last dance, “It was my last Father-Daughter Dance, so I tried to make the most of it. I had fun dancing with my dad and hanging out with my friends. I liked watching our dads make friends with each other. Afterwards, we held up our tradition and got ice cream.”
Overall, father-daughter dances are always fun experiences and a great opportunity to make long-lasting memories with your dad.
