Lights, camera, action! Rosary and Servite’s Trinitas Arts Conservatory has been working tirelessly on their performance of “Peter and the Starcatcher,” a Peter Pan origin story by Rick Elice. With opening night being less than two weeks away, students are anticipating the first show of the 2024-2025 school year.
This visionary play is a prequel that features a young orphan boy and his friends on a mission to protect a magical treasure that fell into the wrong hands. Rosary and Servite’s talented students were carefully casted to play these imaginative and fun characters at the Servite Theatre from Nov. 14-16. From hair and makeup, to props and costumes, plenty of hard work and dedication has been put into this show.
When I asked senior Avery Rabago, who is working on the props crew, about the upcoming show, she told me, “There is so much excitement leading up to opening night. I hope the audience enjoys all of the hard work put into this show.”
However, Avery is not the only student looking forward to premiering this production. In fact, sophomore and cast member Samantha Marcial added, “I believe the show is super funny, and I think the audience is really going to love it.”
If you have the chance, take this opportunity to support the Rosary and Servite community by watching the highly anticipated production! You may purchase tickets for the show at this link: Peter and the Starcatcher — Trinitas Arts Conservatory.
