As this Servite football season sadly comes to an end, we like to look back at what a great time we all had during this year’s season, especially with some of the amazing themes we got to dress up for and some great touchdowns against outstanding teams. This Saturday, Nov. 9, Servite has their first CIF Playoff game at Sierra Canyon High School at 7 p.m., so go support our brothers!
I had the chance to interview one Servite Football player and one Rosary Royal to talk about this year’s football season. Let’s get the inside scoop of how this season went, both from being in the game and from watching our Servite brothers play.
Luke Sorensen ‘26 is a starter on the varsity football team and is jersey number 1. He has had an incredible season this year as he states, “This has definitely been my favorite season so far. We came through a lot of adversity and won some tough games. We have a very young team, and we can only grow and get better from here. I am super excited to see what the future has in store for us in the next year.”
Sophomore Chloe Ryan was at most of the football games and loved to share her opinion on this year’s season. She mentioned, “I loved going to almost all of the football games! I love seeing the team play and hearing the Asylum yell their hearts out. This season overall was so exciting, from winning all the preseason games to winning their first league game. Now they are off to the playoffs!”
We all want football season to stay, so let’s wish our Servite brothers the best of luck as they play this Friday. No matter how this week’s game turns out, we have another amazing football season to look forward to next year.
