*Insert “Dancing With The Stars” title song*
Every single Tuesday night at 8 p.m., I tune in to “Dancing with the Stars,” and hopefully, I’m not the only one who does. This season has been a doozy; there are so many great contestants, which means it will be very difficult to pick my favorite dance couple towards the end of the season. As much as I would love to be on the show and dance with some amazing pros, I think there should be another season called “Dancing with the Teachers.” Here’s my opinion on which Royal teachers would be great on “Dancing with the Teachers” and their professional dance partners.
- Ms. Williams would be a great dance partner with professional dancer Alan Bersten. They could easily score all tens after dancing the Cha-Cha.
- Sra. Kappe ‘03 has the same energy as dancer Sasha Farber, and their competitive energy would really enhance their chances of winning. We all know she would devour a Salsa number, especially considering she is a Spanish teacher!
- Mrs. LeClair would blow away the competition with professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy. I don’t know what it would be about them, but they could definitely win with a killer Foxtrot dance.
- Mr. O’Campo would be stunning with Daniella Karagach. With her amazing choreography, they would for sure be top 3.
- Dr. Parmar and dancer Jenna Johnson would really wow the audience. A beautiful Waltz would make the whole audience cry when they see them dancing together.
- Mr. Aragon could easily be the best dancer when partnered with Rylee Arnold. Her quick movements and amazing tricks would set Mr. Aragon up for great success.
Mr. Aragon states, “Maybe I would be good on ‘Dancing with the Teachers.’ I would feel very popular if I was on the show, and I will finally learn how to dance! Not only is the whole world watching that show, but maybe it could lead to an acting career. It also could lead to being a professional dancer myself and then people would want to dance with me on the show. Needless to say, I would be delighted to be on the show ‘Dancing with the Teachers.’”
Mrs. LeClair clearly made her opinion stand out. She said, “I would love to dance with Val! He’s got many wins and experience under his belt, and I’m trying to WIN this hypothetical dance competition. Honestly, I would prefer his brother, Maksim, because he’s better looking, but I think he’s retired, so I’ll take Val. Combined with my moves and good looks, I think we’ll win the whole thing.”
Junior Anayra Reynoso ‘26 said, “I would love to see some of our teachers dancing! I honestly think that Mrs. LeClair would do a really good Hamilton-themed dance.”
As much as I would really, really love to see this all in real life, it likely won’t happen, unless a producer happens to stumble upon the Royal Reporter. Leave a comment on who you think would win “Dancing with the Teachers.”

I’m ready to foxtrot all over the competition and win this whole thing!
