From the DJ to the snacks, to the featured ride, Rosary and Servite’s carnival-themed Homecoming was a success: Regine Manuel ’27 said, “I had fun getting ready, seeing my friends and getting on the ride.”
Out of the new songs and classics the DJ played many, some of my favorite songs were: “Hotel” by Pitbull, “Die with a Smile” by Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars, “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen and “FEIN” by Travis Scott. It’s safe to say that everyone danced the night away. Maliyah Collins ’28 added, “The songs were great, and I loved the DJ. Hang out with your friends, dance and take pictures together because you only live once!”
The dance also included a photo booth that was open to all, a poker table, a balloon man, the bean bag toss game and a temporary tattoo station! A big hit, the balloon guy even made it to junior Bella Vallejo‘s top HOCO moments: “The balloon guy was my favorite part of the night. I got so many compliments on my balloon crown so they need to bring him back next year.”
Speaking on her time as Homecoming queen Sabrina Martin ’25 stated, “The dance was a lot of fun, my slow dance was very innovative, and I love the fact that I was able to make great friendships with many of our Servite brothers.”
Overall, the dance was extremely fun and I’m happy I went. It was a great night filled with many new memories, singing, dancing and fun.
