The Rosary Fund is a major financial aid system that our school provides to our students so they can comfortably afford to attend our amazing school. About 50% of our students are receiving tuition support, and this money comes from Rosary’s Fund. The annual Day of Giving and other donations is what helps fill our school fund.
Rosary’s Day of Giving was this past Tuesday, October 15, and it was a day to donate money to and assist our school community. Mrs. Pontius, our Annual Fund Manager and Alumnae Relations Director, shared a bit on the Day of Giving: “Day of Giving supports the Rosary Fund. The Rosary Fund supports student enrichment, campus enhancements, faculty and staff professional development, and tuition assistance.”
Mrs. O’Campo, Rosary’s Executive Director of Advancement, shares why the Day of Giving is so important: “This day is special for our school because it fosters community. The day brings together students, parents, teachers/staff and alumnae. Parents of alumnae, grandparents, and friends with a shared purpose to support Rosary’s mission. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a direct impact on our school and showcases that Rosary is worthy of a doctor’s investment because we are forming the next generation of faith-filled women leaders.”
Some of our students also wanted to express their gratitude. Senior Sabrina Martin says, “This day is such a generous day that symbolizes the gift of giving, and it helps me, and my school achieve goals and strive to our best abilities. Thank you to everyone who took the time to donate, we appreciate you and your family!”
Scarlet Espinoza ’28 also expressed, “I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone that donated because even if you donated a little, you are still making a huge difference for someone in our community.”
On behalf of the journalism class, I would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated to the school. Your support significantly contributes to our academic and athletic journeys, and we truly appreciate it. Even the smallest donation can make a substantial difference in our lives as students, and we are immensely grateful for the kindness shown by those who have contributed. Rosary is fortunate to have such a wonderful and supportive community, and we are proud to be a part of it.
