Last Friday, Royals celebrated Rosary Day with a beautiful mass, ring ceremony and a trip to Disneyland! Now, for me, one thing I look forward to at Disneyland has to be the food. I mean, there’s just so much variety: island food in Adventureland, soul food in New Orleans Square, Mexican food in Frontierland and so much more! So, I’ve decided to rate everything I ate on Friday so you guys don’t waste your money.
First, you can’t go wrong with a Disneyland pickle, especially a spicy one. At a whopping $4.49, you get a pretty big pickle. This time, the pickle was a little too salty for my liking, but overall, it was very good and refreshing: I would rate it an 8.5/10.
Secondly, for a great snack, we headed over to Adventureland for some lumpia. At $9.49, you get two pieces of lumpia. I have gotten this every time I go to Disney, and it has never failed me. The taste is very similar to an eggroll, but lumpia is different and so tasty; so, I rate it a 10/10 always.
Next, for dinner, I had the mac and cheese in a bread bowl on Main Street for $12.99. In my opinion, the mac was pretty tasty but I feel like the bread bowl could’ve been much better. So, I rate this a 7/10.
Last but not least, I made my way back to Adventure Land and got a Chile-Mango Whip for $8.49. Made with mango dole whip and loaded with tajin and fruit, this dessert was so good. It’s a bit pricey but so worth it. I rate this a 10/10.
Now my friends and I ate relatively the same things, but there are a few different items they had. So, let’s see their ratings on their foods.
Senior Ava Fredman decided to get a churro as a snack and said, “The churros are a must, I get them every time and they never miss, so a solid 10/10.”
Roni Mercado ’25, made her way to Adventureland, got a regular dole whip and said, “The dole whip was 10/10. That was the part I was most excited about for Disneyland. We ended up getting it right before we left, and it was the perfect way to end the day.”
Congratulations to all the juniors who received their rings, and hopefully everyone had a great time munching on all the different foods at Disneyland!
