We all love Disneyland, but sometimes it can be overwhelming with wanting to go on every ride and eat every amazing food. We both have been to Disneyland many times, so we came up with some advice to help you all out. This will help you and your friends make the most wonderful memories and make the most of your day.
- Get the Disneyland app – Not only can you mobile order food but you can check wait times and see what times shows and parades are at. The Disneyland app is definitely the perfect way to help your day run smoothly.
- Lightning Lanes – In our opinion, you don’t need them unless you are in a time crunch. We feel the whole point of the standby line is to have the opportunity to talk to your friends, play Heads Up or Charades and overall just enjoy your time.
- Single Rider – If you only have a few friends in your group and the ride you want to go on is super long, like Matterhorn and Space Mountain, we recommend using the single-rider line. They are both found near their exits of the ride. Even if you may be a “single rider”, you’ll still have high chances of being with your friends if you want to sit next to them.
- Bring a portable charger – Disney days are typically long days especially on Rosary day. Having a portable charger is necessary to keep your phone charged.
- Fantasyland Rides- Although these are the “little kid” rides, they are still super fun to go on, especially if you are tired and just need a slower ride. These rides are always the best to go on right after the fireworks. They block off those rides during the fireworks, around 20 minutes afterwards, they open back up and have super short lines.
- Virtual Queue for Haunted Mansion- I think we can all agree that Haunted Mansion is one of the best rides at Disney, and it’s been decorated for Halloween since the beginning of September. This is THE best time of year to go on it. Unfortunately, there is no standby line for the ride at this time. You have to join a virtual queue, so the best thing to do is either put all of your tickets/passes onto 1 phone so you can all join together or all join at the same time on your own phones. You must have the Disneyland App to join this queue.
We hope these tips will help you have a fun filled day with your Rosary sisters at Disneyland. Happy Rosary Day!
