Labor Day weekend provided Rosary students with a much needed break from academic life, allowing them to rest. The Royals took advantage of this: they had sports competitions, hung out with friends, and even went shopping for pets! All weekend, Rosary students tried new things.
Q: What did you do over Labor Day weekend?
Harper Clark ’26: On Friday, I went to my first public school football game and it was great! After, I went to In-N-Out with some friends. This past Saturday, I had a cross-country meet in Norwalk, so it was fun watching my friends compete and cheering them on. I also looked for an outfit for the Clario concert I’m going to soon.
Bella Cantos ’26: I had a soccer tournament in Irvine that I performed well in. After that, I went to see “The Forge,” a Christian movie about the power of prayer.
Andrea Salazar ’26: Over the weekend, I went to my aunt’s wedding. It was so fun to spend time with my family after not seeing them for a while. I also had my first cross country meet on Saturday at John Glen and it was really hot, so it was a relief to get the first race out of the way and get rid of some stress.
Isabella Solis ’25: Over the weekend, I went on a hike at Crystal Cove State Park with my friends, which was so fun and peaceful. After our hike, we went to the Crystal Cove Shake Shack and had breakfast. Later in the weekend, I went golfing with my dad and brother at Mile Square Golf Course.
Charlette Roman ’27: Over the weekend, my mom and I went to the pet store to get guinea pig food when my mom saw a cat adoption sign… We decided to adopt an all-black cat named Trixie; I love her and she’s super sweet.
