Some of her favorite things to do when she is not teaching are singing, dancing, attending football games and diving into a good book. Keep reading below to learn more about Ms. Williams and her love for teaching!
Q: What inspired you to be a teacher?
A: I was inspired by the experiences that I received in school. I was never the smartest or strongest student in the bunch, but it was my teachers who truly fostered my love of learning and passion for helping others that inspired me to be a teacher. I also had one amazing teacher in particular, Mrs. Rachubinski, who helped me grow tremendously in my ability to stay organized and find different ways to problem-solve!
Q: How did you hear about Rosary?
A: I heard about Rosary from Notre Dame’s ACE program in April of 2024. I had danced with two Rosary alumni in undergrad and heard amazing stories about their experiences, especially Red and Gold season!
Q: What are you most excited about this year as a new teacher here at Rosary?
A: There are a lot of things that I am looking forward to including Red and Gold, coaching lacrosse and seeing my students grow.
Q: What is your to-go to Starbucks order?
A: My all-time favorite Starbucks drink would be a strawberry refresher with lemonade, light ice and no strawberry inclusions.
Q: What is your favorite memory from the Notre Dame Football games?
A: The 2020 season when Notre Dame played against Clemson. Notre Dame was projected to lose, and we beat Clemson. Everyone stormed the field, and it was a truly memorable experience!
Q: What is your favorite book that you could never get tired of?
A: Picking one is certainly difficult! I would have to say I love “The Fault In Our Stars” by John Green and “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald.
