Mr. Aragon is a new teacher here at Rosary. He’s been a teacher for 20 years. He teaches Learning Strategies and helps to coach our amazing basketball and flag football teams. He’s excited to begin work here and hopes he can make a change!
Q : So far, do you enjoy working at Rosary?
Yes, I’ve never been at an all girls environment. It’s nice to see how passionate the kids are about school, their clubs, their sports, etc.. It’s refreshing to see people that are passionate and intentional about what they’re doing.
Q : What did you do over the summer?
I helped out at a basketball clinic in Panama. It was a small gym with over 200 kids where you teach them basketball skills and team work. It’s very rewarding knowing that you can help kids. I am also very close with my brothers, so I hung out with them a lot over the summer.
Q : What are some of your hobbies?
I enjoy going to the beach. I also enjoy fantasy football and watching sports like basketball, football or track.
Q : What’s a fun fact about you?
I am a huge Cowboys fan.
Q : What are some things you want to introduce to your classes or teams this year?
For the basketball team, I would like to introduce more team building exercises. I would like to do some community outreach activities that can help the team grow closer and help our community.
Q : Are you excited to start coaching basketball here, given our legacy?
I am excited for the challenge and to follow coach Yoon’s great example. I want the winning culture at Rosary to continue, and I would like the girls to grow a disdain for losing.
