The 2024 Prom court has been announced! Congratulations to all of our beautiful Prom princesses: Gigi Coo ‘24, Mallory Mojica-Ye ‘24, DimiAna Daskalakis ‘24, Brooke Skipton ‘24, Nia Delacruz ‘24, Mandy Puga ‘24, Ashley Hawley ‘25, and Jolie Gonzalez ‘25.
Every year, students are sent a link to vote on who they want to see as the potential Prom queen. From this, six seniors and two juniors are chosen to be on the Prom court as Prom princesses. At the dance, Servite students will be able to vote on the Prom queen, and Rosary students will be able to vote on the Prom king.
Ms. Barclay is cheering on the three Prom princesses who are Royal Reporters. Ms. Barclay explained her strong opinion, “If the Prom queen title doesn’t go to a Royal Reporter, it’s an injustice of the highest order. In fact, if Mallory, Gigi, or Mandy wins, it is actually going to all the seniors in journalism and myself. However, I would totally understand if Brooke, Nia, and DimiAna won. They’re in here so much they are basically on the Royal Reporter.”
Best friends Gigi and DimiAna were so happy they were both nominated. Gigi shared her excitement: “I am so thrilled to be sharing prom court with such a great group of girls and my best friend DimiAna.”
One of the Junior nominees, Jolie Gonzalez, shared, “I was honored to be one of the two juniors voted for Prom court. Being a Prom princess will make my first Prom an unforgettable one.”
I can easily say that this year’s Prom princesses are spectacular! I can not wait to see who ends up winning Prom queen (and hopefully, it’s a Royal Reporter).
