Rosary prides itself in having amazing teachers, which is why I took the time to recognize one of the science department’s favorites, Mr. Parmar.
Mr. Parmar teaches Physical Science, Honors Biology, and AP Environmental Science. He has been on campus for three years, and he’s infamous among students for his dry humor.
Justine Wilson ’26 shared, “I have him for biology this year, and his class is always fun. I wouldn’t describe myself as ‘science smart’ by any means, but he always does his best to make it interactive and keeps us entertained during lectures, which I really appreciate. He is always there after school to help us with any questions, and I appreciate the dedication and effort he puts into the class.”
Sophomore Jocelyn Ojeda also had high praise for Mr. Parmar: “I had him for physical science last year. Mr. Parmar is a great teacher; his sarcastic personality really kept our class entertained and attentive throughout the lesson, and he really helped me to succeed in that class.”
Senior Sara Garcia explained, “Mr. Parmar has been instrumental to my success in AP Environmental Science. He’s definitely a character, but it makes class all the more fun.”
Sophomore Daisy Alvarado offered, “Last year, I had him for biology. I love how unserious he is. My classmates and I always had a laugh, since he found such creative ways to make projects or presentations interesting.”
When asked about his favorite part of teaching, he commented, “The best part about being a teacher would be getting to know my students as the wonderful and unique people they are. I love seeing them grow over their years in high school with all of their interests and enthusiasm for both the subject matter and for life. I also love working in a place where we can discuss and grow in our faith every day and where I can help students become the best version of themselves possible.”
Thank you to all Rosary’s teachers for the time, effort, and care you put into teaching. Your work does not go unnoticed; Rosary and our students appreciate everything you do!
