This past week, Rosary and Servite students thoroughly enjoyed some time off school to relax, travel, hang out with friends, and more. Let’s look at how students grew the sisterhood and brotherhood of Rosary and Servite over Easter break.
For starters, my friend Anthony Kontogouris ‘24 invited me and some of my friends to Palm Springs. This quick trip was so fun! Sarah Quiros ‘24 shares, “It was a much-needed stay-cation to relax by the pool and work on my tan. It made me extra grateful for my Servite and Rosary besties.” I agree with Sarah; this trip was great!
Seniors Finley Hawkins and Nicole Elliott enjoyed a fun night with their Servite friends Korey Villanueva ’24, Ryan Villanueva ’24, Richard Jaime ’24, and Isaac Carvalho ’24. Finley explained their fun night-in: “After stuffing our faces with BJ’s Pizookies, we headed back to my house to watch movies and play games, but because of everyone’s indecisiveness, we ended up just watching random YouTube videos and hanging out.” It sounds like they all had a fun time at the Hawkins’ house.
Mandy Puga ‘24 and Nia Delecruz ‘24 went out with their Servite friends Mateo Oquendo ‘24 and Matthew Ghebrial ‘24 for a pizza night. Mandy said, “It was fun to hang out with friends outside of school since we usually only see each other at rehearsals. We got pizza, which was so good, and then just talked in my car catching up on everything. It was a lot of fun.”
Jeanna Sheremetta ‘24 and Quinn Rosenkranz ‘24 took advantage of living on the West Coast and spent a day at the beach. Jeanna happily listed off her day, “It was great. The U.V. was high. The temperature was perfect. We went into the ocean and then laid out to tan. We ate at Cava, my fave, and followed it up with ice cream and coffee. Overall, I’d say it was a 10/10 day.” Jeanna and Quinn must be on to something because this day sounds awesome.
It seems like the Royals and Friars had a great break spending time together. I’m sure Rosary and Servite would be happy to see the sisterhood and brotherhood displayed by students over this Easter break.
