Hey, sophomores! This Friday, March 22 is Sophomore Professional Development Day.
Roll in by 7:45 a.m. to grab your personalized schedule. You’ll be assigned to different rooms for career panels, where you’ll get to learn about the paths of our very own Rosary alumnae.
The main event kicks off with a talk by Jacqueline Sarkissian ’07, a news reporter on FOX 5, in the Karcher Center. Lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m. — don’t be shy to talk to the panelists during this time. They’re going to be eating lunch with everyone, so use this as an advantage for some one-on-one time.
After lunch, there will be a workshop with the counseling team. This will help you figure out your next steps, whether it’s figuring out classes that best suit junior year or thinking about college.
Mrs. O’Campo says, “Sophomore Professional Development Day is a pivotal moment for our students because seeds of inspiration are planted. Our keynote speaker and panelists, many of whom are successful Rosary alumnae, share their college and career journeys. Our alumnae hope their stories will help our young women envision their potential as they plan for the future. For those involved in planning Sophomore PD, it is our duty to support our young women as they grow into confident, empowered leaders ready to embrace their potential and shape their futures.”
Sophomores, get ready to soak up the advice, ask lots of questions, and get ready to own your future. Get excited—Sophomore Professional Development Day is all about helping you dream big and start your path!
