Most people know that indoor volleyball season is in the fall, but did you know that there is a second season for volleyball on the sand? This is Rosary’s 3rd year having a beach volleyball team, but this is the first year beach volleyball will have a full varsity and JV team.
Sophomore Ava Graham stated, “I love beach volleyball, we all have so much. It was so exciting for the JV team to win our first two games.”
Varsity’s’ season is starting off strong with two wins so far. Next week the teams enter into their first Trinity League games.
Varsity team captain Isabella Montano ‘24 mentions: “Our practices have been pretty great so far, I loved getting to bond with teammates and the practices have definitely helped us be ready for the up and coming games.”
