We’re just girls

We shrug off our pain because we’re just girls.

Recently on TikTok, there has been a trend going around where girls use the excuse “I’m just a girl” for their mistakes. I went around the senior class and asked them for their most recent “I’m just a girl” stories. Even Mrs. D’Alba wanted to chime into the trend saying, “I’m just a girl I can’t parallel park… I’d rather just go home.” 

 

Here’s what some of the Rosary seniors had to say:

FYI, this is all just a silly little joke. We are all smart, intelligent women, but TikTok trends are still fun.

Cait Smith is a senior at Rosary Academy and is very excited for her first year on the Royal Reporter. She is the Editor in Chief of the yearbook staff and is involved in CSF and NHS. She is also the team manager of the Rosary Lacrosse team. In her free time, she likes to create short films and paint. Cait is always around campus with a camera in hand taking pictures of every moment possible. She also loves everything about Halloween, from the music and movies to the decorations and flavors. Her go-to Starbucks order is a strawberry acai refresher with a chocolate cake pop. Cait cannot live without getting Starbucks at least twice a week, especially on Mondays. She is excited to work with many talented journalists this year.
Lianna Enright
Lianna Enright, Copy Editor and Post Publication Editor
Lianna is a senior at Rosary Academy and is very excited for her second year on the Royal Reporter. On campus, she is active in Campus Ministry, CSF, NHS, and has also been a Red and Gold captain. She is part of a club soccer team and enjoys running and going to the gym in her free time. Lianna also loves to shop, sing loud music with her friends, and go to the beach. She enjoys reading and watching rom-coms along with her favorite shows "Friends" and "Gilmore Girls." You will never catch her without a coffee or some sort of over caffeinated beverage in hand. Lianna is beyond excited to be a part of such an energetic and exciting team of writers!
