Recently on TikTok, there has been a trend going around where girls use the excuse “I’m just a girl” for their mistakes. I went around the senior class and asked them for their most recent “I’m just a girl” stories. Even Mrs. D’Alba wanted to chime into the trend saying, “I’m just a girl I can’t parallel park… I’d rather just go home.”
Here’s what some of the Rosary seniors had to say:
- “I’m just a girl, I actively decided to not do my math homework” – Madeleine Popovich
- “I’m just a girl, I draw in the corner of my work” – Madison Bautista
- “I’m just a girl, I never charge my laptop” – Lily Curtis
- “I’m just a girl, I play Wordles religiously” – Paige Sorensen
- “I’m just a girl, I make grilled cheeses at 1 a.m.” – Ava Gonzalez

- “I’m just a girl, I have a list of everyone I have ever had a crush on in alphabetical order” – Faith Rohani
- “I’m just a girl, I don’t know how to drive yet.” – Abby Wright
- “I’m just a girl, I only use cash so it’s not like I am spending money” – Brianna Salazar
- “I’m just a girl, I don’t know how to use the GPS” – Gathyah Garcia
- “I’m just a girl, I always go shopping but never have money.” – Violet Velasquez
- “I’m just a girl, I got a whole new closet one for trip” – Kristiana Guerra
- “I’m just a girl, when I’m late to school I always pull up with Starbucks”- Lianna Enright
- “I’m just a girl, if I don’t wash my hair, I am not going out.” – Leonor Ceballos
- “I’m just a girl, I say sorry too much” – Mia Kennedy
- “I’m just a girl, I procrastinate too much”- Mandy Puga
- “I’m just a girl, if someone asks me what I want to eat, I say ‘IDK, whatever you want'” – Kit Hayward
- “I’m just a girl, I backed into a Servite dad’s car” – Anonymous
- “Born to be a crazy hot stalker, forced to be just a girl” – Anonymous
- “I’m just a girl, I’m never at school” – Anonymous
FYI, this is all just a silly little joke. We are all smart, intelligent women, but TikTok trends are still fun.

I’m just a girl, of course I’m reading the Royal Reporter instead of writing my research paper due tomorrow.
