This Friday, Feb. 15, Trinitas Arts Conservatory will host its annual Comedy Sportz Red and Gold-themed match at Rosary Academy in the Assembly Hall. The difference between this match and any other is that anyone who attends will earn points for their respective Red and Gold team.
As senior Mandy Puga puts it, “Comedy Sportz matches are already fun on their own, but this one can earn your team Red and Gold points! A night full of laughter plus increasing the chance of your team winning? That’s an offer no one can refuse.”
In case you’re unaware of what exactly Comedy Sportz is, Servite senior Matthew Ghebrial, one of the two Comedy Sportz managers, explains it best: “Comedy Sportz involves two teams who compete against each other in several improv games during a match. For the Red and Gold-themed match, we will have a red team and a gold team competing. It is difficult to explain to someone what Comedy Sportz is because of its unique style; the only way to find out for sure is to come to a match! I guarantee that you will laugh.”
Admission is $5, and various concessions (such as candy, snacks, and drinks) are $2 and will be sold throughout the night. Make sure to show up in your best Red and Gold attire and support not only your fellow Rosary Royals and Servite Friars but your Red and Gold team as well!
