Trinitas’ winter play “Blithe Spirit” is officially opening in two weeks! The play tells the story of a ill-tempered novelist and how he’s haunted by his late first wife as consequence for seeking advice from a psychic elderly woman.
Matilda Simmons ’26, who plays one of the main characters, explains, “Rehearsing for ‘Blithe’ has been so much fun. The show itself is a comedy and it’s been phenomenal to watch how far each actor and actress has come developing their character. I can’t wait to see the play be brought to the stage.”
Since December, Rosary and Servite actors have been working tirelessly on the show. Cast member Gigi Coo ’24 said, “Getting to work with Mr. Marrone, our director, has been wonderful experience. Watching the show come together has been such a joy and I’m so excited for everyone to see it!”
The show dates are February 8, 9, and 10 with 7 p.m. show times and a 1 p.m. matinee performance on the 10th.
