Thanksgiving table talk that made us say “What?”

Seniors Isabella Walker and Sara Garcia are sat, ready to dine and dish on some juicy topics.

Every year, it seems that the conversations at Thanksgiving dinner get even more outlandish and random. Some controversial, some light-hearted. Some downright weird. Occasionally these discussions evolve into something so crazy that one needs to debrief and dump all of them onto a page. So, here are some of the topics that our Royals discussed or heard at the Thanksgiving dinner table this year.

Overall, this Thanksgiving was filled with conversations we’ll never forget. Despite the strange and random nature of these conversations, we discovered a special gratitude for family and all the odd and funny ways they brighten our lives.

Isabella Walker, a senior at Rosary Academy, is absolutely ecstatic to begin her first year on the Royal Reporter! At school, she is involved in Campus Ministry, Royal Ambassadors, and NHS. In her free time, Isabella watches  tons of movies and TV shows. She also loves to scroll for hours and hours on Pinterest, curating the perfect Pinterest boards. She also loves to listen to music and rave about anything and everything Taylor Swift. This year, Isabella is most looking forward to Red and Gold, and she hopes to win for the first time. In college, she hopes to study Marine Biology and all that the ocean has to offer. Isabella is very excited and is ready to be a part of an amazing staff of writers!

Sara Garcia, Podcast Editor
Sara Garcia is currently a senior at Rosary Academy, and it's her first year as both a staff writer on the Reporter and one of the hosts of the Royal Rambler podcast. When she's not spending time lecturing people about the environment or advancing the American lexicon, Sara enjoys pursuits like reading, watching movies, and hiking. Some of her extracurriculars include ASB, PAL, and being president of the Environmental Club. She loves Lana del Rey, especially her song "Let the Light In" and has been described as strange and a merry prankster.
