Believe it or not, Thanksgiving break starts next Friday. This week, Rosary has started to collect cans for the Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive, which will go to families in need. The food drive ends November 17th, so students should be running to the grocery store, and checking their pantries for canned food.
A lot of families may be struggling financially, especially during this time, and these donations can help alleviate their stress about buying Thanksgiving food. Mrs. Flati says, “All canned food collected will go to St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. They have a St. Vincent de Paul Society that collects food and distributes them to families in need.”
If students have canned foods, please stop by room 8, 9, or the main office to drop it off. In addition, students should make sure to double check the expiration dates.
