Because of Kairos this past week, half of the senior class was missing. Since I am one of the few seniors who was abandoned at school, I would like to brag a bit about all the fun they missed.
For starters, it was in Red Ribbon Week, which means every day we got to dress up. So, HAH seniors! You guys missed one of the only weeks we got to wear something other than our plaid and polos! Besides some stylish outfits that we were able to wear, here are a list of other things that occurred while many of you were Kairosing:
- Full circle boys came back
- It was finally quiet on campus
- Lunch line was super short
- Queen Elizabeth rose from the dead
- We had a rizz competition in Journalism
- Tom Holland and Timothée Chalamet came to campus
- Coachella was at Rosary
- Office Hours
- We filmed a TV show that is going to be debuted on Netflix
- Karaoke sessions in every class
- Free boba in the parking lot
- Santa Claus came to Rosary and handed out gifts
- Had a co-ed day with Servite
- Slumber party in the Karcher center
- There was free ice cream every day at lunch
- Starbucks drinks were sold at our cafeteria for the week
- We all took a hike to Acacia Park and cooked s’mores
- Connected a Nintendo Switch to the smart board and played Mario Kart for an entire class period
- Lunch tables made an appearance
- Taylor Swift released “1990,” a new album
Although I obviously had a lot of fun this week because of all the cool activities that took place, I cannot wait to see my friends again. Alyssa Ramirez ’24 says, “I really missed my friends while they were away at Kairos. It was weird for everyone to be gone at lunch because of how quiet it was.” Couldn’t have said it better myself, but I am happy they got to experience this once in a lifetime retreat. Cannot wait for the seniors to be back on campus; the quietness was truly terrifying.
