Halloween is coming way faster than we all thought; it’s on Tuesday, but you may need a costume even sooner if you are celebrating this weekend. Before you freak out about getting a costume, take a deep breath, and know we’ve got your back. If you need something easy or last-minute, you’ve come to the right place. Here are five Halloween costumes you can get together pretty quickly.
1. Vampire
First is a vampire costume. This one is timeless, and never fails to look good. All you really need to wear is a black dress and some dripping blood. If you have extra time, run to Party City or Spirit Halloween and grab some plastic fangs, which can make this look even better. While you’re there, also grab some fake blood (red lipstick can work as well) to drip from the corners of your mouth. As far as hair and jewelry go, you can really do whatever you want, but I think keeping your hair down will look best.
2. Mummy
Another easy costume would be a mummy; just wear a white dress or a skirt and top, and layer toilet paper over it. In order to keep the toilet paper in place, clear tape will work best, and make sure to do several layers of the toilet paper. In addition, a cute white headband would look great with this look!
3. Red Riding Hood
For Red Riding Hood, you will need similar items as a vampire. Anything black works, whether that’s a black dress or a top paired with a skirt or shorts. Then, you will want a darker lipstick and a red hooded cape that you can get from Amazon, Party City or Spirit Halloween. This is super cute and easy. Pigtails with red ribbons would add a great addition to this look, as well as a basket, if possible.
4. Magic Mike
This one is probably one of the easiest, but it is still very cute. You will need jeans, Calvin Klein boxers, a white tank, and a tie. This one was very popular last year, but it’s a very timeless costume. Any hair style can really go with this look.
5. Kim Possible
This one is also pretty simple, and you most likely will have everything in your closet. You will need green cargos, a black tank or long sleeve, and a fanny pack. Since her hair is orange, finding an orange wig would make this look even better, but if that’s not possible, French braids or keeping your hair down would also look wonderful!
No matter how simple the costume, don’t forget to dress up for Halloween. The holiday is about having fun with family and friends, so don’t get stuck on having the perfect outfit. Stay safe and have a spook-tacular time!
