Many Rosary seniors can confidently say that they have significantly changed since freshman year, myself included. Let’s take a look at some of the class of 2024’s physical changes that occurred throughout their years at Rosary.
Starting off strong with myself. I am surprisingly grateful for my ugly phase because it humbled me and gave me the character development I needed. The main differences I made to glow-up were getting my braces off and dyeing my hair. Bye-bye, fake ginger, brace-face Lily. Hello, blonde, straight teeth Lily.
Now, let’s take a look at Mallory Mojica-Ye ‘24. She told us, “I changed my style, the way I do my makeup, and the perm I have. Each of these changes greatly contributed to my glow-up.” Senior Mallory’s style knocked freshman Mallory’s style out of the park.
Senior DimiAna Daskalakis’ transformation may have been a little more work, considering it has about six steps. DimiAna provided us with her secrets to glowing up: “To glow up, I got Invisalign, gained more confidence in my smile and style, grew my hair out, focused on my mental health, and stopped caring about other people and focused more on how I see myself.” I agree with DimiAna; internally glowing up can definitely cause an external glow-up.
Nicole Elliott ’24 shared, “The main change in me from freshman to senior year was learning not to hide my happiness in pictures. I used to never smile with my teeth, but I realized I look better when I have a genuine smile on my face.” I’m happy to see Nicole is finally showing off her beautiful smile.
If you’re a freshman, hopefully you can use some of these tips to help you glow-up by senior year.
