Have you ever struggled in a class? Everyone has been there, but the question is– how do you handle it? Lucky for you, NHS has your back!
Below, club moderator Mrs. Davidson shares what NHS is and everything you need to know to get involved.
Q: What is NHS?
A: It stands for National Honors Society. It’s all the top senior students at Rosary who give academic help to underclasswomen.
Q: When and where does NHS take place?
A: In our club, we offer tutoring at lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Room 110.
Q: Are there any other times for students who cannot make the time slots?
A: There’s a link on the website (Rosaryacademy.org) if students want help with a specific topic. You can fill out the form under Academics and College Counseling on what time and subject you need assistance with; we will do our best to find a student who can accommodate you.
Q: Who should go to NHS?
A: Anyone who needs help with their classes. It could vary from getting study help for a test, or quiz, to getting help on writing an essay. No matter the cause, our students can help! We’re here to help you do your best.
Club President Kit Hayward ‘24 also commented: “We have multiple groups of ready-to-help seniors who are willing and excited to help underclasswomen with any questions. It might be scary to ask for tutoring, but the experience is worth it.”
So, if you find yourself struggling with any class, make sure to send an academic request and get academic help with NHS.
