Hey Royals! Rosary Day is quickly approaching this Friday, October 6, and the Rosary community is so excited to celebrate the juniors’ on their special day. After the ceremony, most Royals spend the day at Disneyland, so here is a list of some helpful tips to prepare for a fun-filled day at the happiest place on Earth!
The weather forecast for Friday looks like it’s going to be very hot. Make sure to bring cooler clothes to change into after Mass. Because it’s going to be a warm day, it’s a good idea to wear sunscreen and bring extra to reapply. Bringing bug repellent might also come in handy as there have been lots of mosquitos lately. Additionally, wearing comfortable shoes is a must. With a long day of walking, your feet will get tired, so having appropriate footwear is essential.
For many, the food at Disneyland is the best part. Ava Fishman ‘24 shares, “I already have all the foods I want to try when I get to Disneyland. I can’t wait to eat all the delicious snacks and treats; it’s what I look forward to most.” The churros, dole whip, and corndogs are essential to every Disney trip. The seasonal churros are also fun to try. This time of year Disneyland is featuring a Maleficent churros and a orange citrus churro, so be sure to give those a try!
While the food is delicious, it can get pricey. Bringing unopened water bottles and snacks is a smart way to save money and keep you satisfied when in a long line.
Some other Disneyland essentials include a portable charger, a sweatshirt for cold evenings, and the Disneyland app. The app allows you to view wait times, view the rides that are shut down, and even mobile order food, so you don’t have to wait in the line.
Don’t forget to figure out a ride to and from Disneyland. The park closes at 12 a.m. Hopefully these tips help you out on this fun-filled day at Disneyland with our Rosary sisters. Enjoy Rosary Day, Royals!
