Are you interested in taking a trip to France and Spain? If so, you’re in luck! Rosary is offering the trip of a lifetime from March 28 to April 6, 2024.
Students who attend will spend four days in Paris exploring the Eiffel Tower, the Palace of Versailles, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe, and other Parisian tourist attractions. After the stay in Paris, students will fly to Barcelona, where they’ll spend two days seeing the gorgeous Gothic architecture, wandering the Plaça Reial– a popular city square– and the world-famous Mercado de La Boqueria. Say adios to Barcelona and hola to Madrid, where students will spend the last two days of their trip. Stroll through El Retiro Park and explore the Prado, one of the world’s most premier art museums.
Some students have already registered for the trip and are ready to take on France and Spain! Junior Celine Asido tells what sight she is most excited to see: “Honestly, the Eiffel Tower. Also, the French cafés!” Natalia Chavez ‘24 explains what she’s most looking forward to, stating, “I’m most excited to see the Parc Güell in Barcelona and I’m really excited to just have the opportunity to explore the traditions and places that make France and Spain, well, France and Spain!”
When asked why students should sign up for the France and Spain trip, trip co-moderator Mrs. Neumann says, “There are lots of reasons. A study abroad experience offers you a unique experience that you can’t get in a classroom. And experiencing another culture and a different language in action can completely change how you view your own culture and language. Plus, it’s fun to go shopping in other places.”
But act fast! The deadline to register is Saturday, September 30. For more information on the trip and the itinerary, click here. If you have any questions, contact Senora Kam or Madame Neumann.
