Cracked Crab is coming up soon on Sept. 30. The event is one of the main fundraisers for Rosary’s athletic teams. Athletic Director Mr. Tice explains, “Individual teams get a chance to raise money for special projects, including special uniform pieces, specific equipment and travel costs.” Donations go straight to the teams, helping them to channel their energy toward their skills instead of worrying students and parents about costs and faulty equipment. 

It’s also possible to donate to Cracked Crab in the coming days before the event. Teams may send out emails detailing how parents and families can donate to help out. At the actual event, parents, teachers and other attendees can donate through raffle prizes. 

Cracked Crab is also valuable for teachers to attend. Ms. Hermosillo ‘14  shares, “It is a wonderful time, and it’s fun to interact with parents on a social level.” She highlights how teachers attending can allow them to meet and talk to parents, making for a fun night of community building. 

For parents, an individual ticket costs $100.00 and a reserved VIP table for 10 is $1800.00. For teachers, coaches, and staff tickets are free with 1 guest ticket being 50% off. Cracked Crab is the best way to support Rosary’s athletic teams, so make sure to donate!
