On Wednesday, September 6, Rosary Academy’s Karcher center hosted the fall sports rally.
Joined by some of Servite’s Asylum leaders, the rally featured games, cheers, performances from cheer and dance, and introductions to each of the fall season sports.
Sophomore Lauren Marvray ‘26 expressed, “It was really interesting to see the Servite guys interact with Royals at the sports rally and teach us some of The Asylum’s cheers and chants.”
But it didn’t stop there. Before presenting our awesome sports teams, the Royals had a fun game of musical chairs, each grade cheering for their competing sisters.
Our fall sports rally highlighted Rosary’s flag football, cross country, triathlon, tennis, golf, and volleyball teams with fun hype videos for all sports, followed by loud cheering from Royals.
Flag football athlete Bella Vallejo ‘26 shared her experience at the rally: “It was really exciting to get to go up with the flag football team for the first time at a Rosary rally. Everyone has been super supportive, especially at the rally. I can’t wait to attend fall sports games for all the teams!”
Before dismissal, of course we had to know which class won the spirit stick, for the title of being the loudest and most energetic of all grades. Although controversial since the sophomores were quite loud, the seniors took the first victory of the school year.
After an energetic and fun sports rally, our Royals ended it with one of Rosary’s iconic chants before thanking administration.
We wish all the best to every athlete and pray for successful, and safe sports seasons for all our Royals!
