With club rush approaching, it is time for Royals to consider which clubs they will devote their time to. Royals boast many interesting clubs like Model UN, Harry Potter Club, Poetry Club, RAD Club, and Gilmore Girls club. That being said, I think there’s a number of clubs that would improve our campus. So, here are a few wacky club ideas:
- Kazoo club- Learning to play kazoo symphonies.
- Pickle club- A club devoted to examining the joys of cool, crunchy pickles.
- Cheez-It fan club- Lauren Marvray ‘26, would be the captain of this club describing its mission: “Eating Cheez-Its is a delicious but surreal experience; my club would strive to share the joy of Cheez-Its with the whole campus, all the time. We would fill the Karcher Center with two tons of Original Cheez-Its.”
- Dress code enthusiasts club- This club would strive to enforce the Dress Code amongst their rule-breaking peers.
- Teachers’ Pets club- Teachers’ pets unite! Meetings will be held in the faculty lounge.
- New Bell lovers club- Love the new bells? Then this club is for you! Meetings would meditate on our bell schedule times, and the rest would be filled with listening to our new chime-bells on loop.
- Canned tuna enthusiast club- Who does not love cracking open a can of delicious, canned tuna? This club would be devoted to incorporating canned tuna into everyday recipes and raising awareness about the benefits of canned tuna.

- Healthy Lunch association- The HLA would walk around criticizing students’ lunches and trading their unhealthy snacks for those oven-baked chips.
- Alien appreciation club- Alien hunters unite! Bring out the tin foil and telescopes.
- Paparazzi club- This club would pick teachers at random each week and follow them around all-day, endlessly bothering them, snapping pictures, and shouting random questions at them.
- Club sabotaging club- The CSC would tirelessly work to ruin other club’s meetings.
Club applications are due next week, but a few of these clubs definitely would not get approved. Have fun at club rush Royals!
