Back to school shopping, new clothes, football games, homecoming plans . . . school is officially back in session.
After a well-deserved break, Royals have returned with excitement, anticipation, and maybe a bit of nerves for the new year. But don’t worry, it’s going to be a great year.
Here are some activities, dances, or events to look forward to as the beginning of the year progresses.
1.Homecoming
Homecoming is one of the more casual dances, and it’s an amazing opportunity to hang out with fellow Royals as well as our Servite brothers. Personally, I had so much fun last year and can’t wait for another great night this year!
2. Friday night lights
Now, it wouldn’t be Friday without our Friday night football games. At the end of a long week, being able to look forward to a fun football game with friends sounds amazing. Plus, dressing up for the themes and coordinating with friends will make lifelong memories.
2. Club Rush
Is there a certain interest or club you were thinking about? If you are, club rush is just for you! It’s a great opportunity to explore your interests, meet friends, and find something you’re passionate about.
3. Rosary Day (personal favorite)
Rosary day was one of my most memorable and favorite days last year. It was heartwarming to see the Junior class progress to upperclasswomen and so fun to spend the day at Disney with my Rosary sisters. This event makes me so excited to continue my career at Rosary because of the community and love that surrounds this day.
4. Retreats
Each class goes on at least one retreat every year. They are such a nice getaway from school, and you can look forward to making at least one new good friend. I am (and hopefully you are too) very much looking forward to my class retreats this year!
I hope you take a chance and attend at least one of these activities or events during the first semester. Maybe it’ll be better than you initially believed. Have a great year Royals!
