I know, it’s not my time for fame yet, so I like to live vicariously through other celebs—which obviously means I’m also very aware of the drama among the world’s A-listers. I’m fully educated on celeb feuds, so here are a few of my favorites:

Noah Schnapp v. Doja Cat

If I told you that there was beef between a 17-year-old actor and a popstar almost ten years older than him, you’d probably have a hard time believing me. Not that the situation is impossible…it’s just weird. 

It all started during the summer of 2022, when everyone’s “Stranger Things” obsession had been revived with a third season. Like most viewers, Doja Cat fell in love with not only the show but also with Joseph Quinn, who played Eddie Munson. Doja took it upon herself to text Schnapp, pleading Quinn to “hmu,” (online lingo for “hit me up”), and then saving herself by asking if he has a girlfriend. 

Schnapp shared screenshots of the messages on his TikTok, and Doja Cat wasn’t having it. On a TikTok Live, she ranted to her viewers about the situation, attacking him for his immaturity, and emphasizing that mistakes are expected at his age. Not long after, she received backlash for messaging the young actor in the first place. Schnapp then posted a TikTok to one of Doja’s songs, claiming that he had already apologized to her and all was well between the two.

Olivia Wilde v. basically the entire “Don’t Worry Darling” Cast

For a good while, the drama of “Don’t Worry Darling” had me worrying, darling. It seemed the film’s director, Olivia Wilde, liked to bring the hysterics behind the scenes as well. Perhaps the most notable of Wilde’s many altercations was with the film’s star, Florence Pugh, and her almost co-star, Shia LaBeouf.

Fans of the film and of Pugh noticed the lack of publicity for “Don’t Worry Darling” on her social media. Suspicion further grew when Wilde and Pugh never exchanged a word during the Venice Film Festival. Leave it to Shia LaBeouf to clear up all of the rumors. After Wilde tweeted that LaBeouf, who was initially set to star alongside Pugh, had been fired, LaBeouf replied accusing Wilde of lying. Pugh had felt uncomfortable working with LaBeouf, and he explained that he was not fired but rather that he quit. In a voice message he posted, Wilde is heard pleading LaBeouf to stay, claiming it would be “A wake up call for Miss Flo.” It was revealed that Pugh and Wilde also had disagreements over the promotion of the movie, and rumors spread of Pugh disapproving of Wilde’s relationship with her co-star, Harry Styles. 

Selena Gomez v. Hailey Bieber

Now onto the celeb feud that’s got everyone’s attention lately: Mrs. Biebs v. Ms. Almost Biebs. Talk of an alleged quarrel began a few weeks ago, due to the two’s ominous social media posts. We all know of the infamous relationship between Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, and ever since his marriage to Hailey Bieber, fans have loved to speculate possible drama between the two women. 

Gomez was being criticized on social media with body-shaming comments, and Bieber posted a now deleted TikTok with her friends to the sound, “I’m not saying she deserved it, but God’s timing is always right.” Let me tell you, Selenators were FLOORED, speculating that it was directed towards Gomez.

Gomez also posted a TikTok of her eyebrows, saying that she accidentally laminated her eyebrows too much. This is when Kylie Jenner gets thrown into the mix. Jenner, a friend of Bieber, posted an Instagram story of her own laminated brows, captioned, “This was an accident?” If that post wasn’t enough, she followed it with a screenshot from a FaceTime with Bieber, where they both focus the camera on their eyebrows. 

Soon after, a TikTok of Bieber shading Taylor Swift, lifelong bestie of Gomez, resurfaced, where the model is seen making a gagging motion. Gomez commented, “So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game,” then announced on a TikTok Live that she’ll be taking a break from social media.
