Welcome back dance team
February 10, 2023
This past Tuesday, Feb. 7th, we welcomed the Rosary Dance Team back home after being a week away for their competition in Florida.
After a week of hard work, lots of dancing, and having some fun as a team, these girls were ready to come back home. Senior Jada Alexis shared, “I was so proud of everyone for competing and dancing their best in Florida. We definitely made some great memories that I will never forget. Although I was sad it was my last time traveling there with the dance team, I was ready to come home. I missed my bed.”
While the girls were in Florida, they took a break from dancing for a day to visit Disney World. Paloma Borsari ’24 shared, “Going to Disney World was definitely the highlight of the trip. I loved being able to spend time with my friends, go on all the rides, and eat some good food. We were all exhausted by the end of the night, but it was worth it.”
This trip to Florida was also a great opportunity for the girls to bond and become closer as a team. Emily Blanco ’26 shared, “I am so happy I had the opportunity to attend this trip as a freshman. I was able to share a room with two seniors, and although we were already pretty close, the trip brought us even closer. Even though the trip is over now, I was excited to come back to my family and friends.”
Even though the girls were there for a dance competition, they had so much fun together at team dinners, hanging out in their hotel rooms, going to Disney World, watching other teams dance, and so much more.
Now that the trip has come to an end, the girls are finally back to their original routines at home. They are excited to hopefully attend next year as well, and make some great memories again.
