The Kia Forum is now Harry’s House
October 28, 2022
Pack your bags because Harry’s House is finally in LA for 15 nights at the Kia Forum, and lucky for you, the Forum hosts 17,505 people.
For the last stop on the never-ending Love on Tour, Harry Styles has decided to play 15 times at the Kia Forum in LA, meaning that I will now be living at the Forum for next 4 weeks.
I decided to make my camping debut on Wednesday morning at 2:45 a.m. Seniors, Adriana Arroyo, Emma Silva, Sami DeLeon, and I packed chairs, many blankets, snacks, and waters for a long and anticipating wait for our Wednesday night concert. Some girl behind us in line even brought a blow up mattress. Needless to say, the moving day for Harry’s House has most certainly begun.
Although many argue that one does not need to camp out to get a good view in the general admission pit section, Emma Silva ’23 says, “If I am not at least two people away from the love of my life, why bother going? I came to see the sweat dribbles on his upper lip, not some big TV screen from the back row.”
After a long couple weeks of telling our moms that it is completely normal to sleep on the streets of Inglewood, we finally were able to make it a reality.
After 18 hours of waiting in lines, we were let in and ended up in the third row.
We definitely got the best outfit from Senor Styles. Considering his reputation for wearing some unforgiveable outfits on tour, he really blew us all away with an outfit that not only matched, but slayed as well. Sami DeLeon ’23 said, “I almost passed out when he came on stage for the first time. His top was just so sparkly and I could not have asked for anything better. After making so many new friends in the squishy pit that was borderline suffocating, the concert was officially over, and we spent the entire car ride back in complete silence and mourning. The grief that washed over our bodies was too much to bear and resulted in many tears. Post-concert depression is real. According to Adriana Arroyo ’23, “If I listen to Matilda one more time after that show, I think I will have to be put into a hospital.”
Without a doubt, we had the time of our lives and most certainly peaked; however, this is not our only show. Emma and I will be heading back on Halloween night for the best costume party to ever exist. I will also be going on Nov. 12 and Nov. 15, the last night of the entire tour.
Although Emma has high standards for where she is seated during the show, there is no bad seat in the Kia Forum. Don’t miss out on possibly the best tour of all time. Move in to Harry’s House before it is too late!
