Alongside classes and Red & Gold, the Rosary softball team has had a busy schedule of practices and games. Their most recent one was their home game against Romana High School. The Royals won with a score of 9-0.

The team’s head coach Mr. Tice stated, “We have a ridiculously talented team, and we’re playing well so far. Our schedule is difficult in order to get us prepared for League, but we’re getting some great results.”

Sophomore player Naveah Trajo described the games to be “tough and competitive, but very fun! When we are playing, we are all laughing and having fun, which is the best feeling.”

First baseman Melissa Hanson ‘22 said things have been “pretty great so far.” She continued on by saying, “We are learning and growing as a team with each passing practice and game. I’m excited to continue my senior year and see how far our team can go. I feel like whenever we focus on each individual game and come together in greatness, we are unstoppable.”

Despite a busy schedule, these girls continue to have fun and play well on the field. Come show your support at today’s home game against Yorba Linda High School at 3:15 P.M. Good luck Royals!
