Royally Paired Big Sisters and Little Sisters
August 27, 2021
This past Wednesday, Aug. 25, Rosary students got the opportunity to meet their big sisters and little sisters for the first time.
Excitement, confusion, and joy were coursing through the Karcher Center as Rosary juniors scoured the gym in search of their little sisters.
Following the first meet and greet, both freshmen and junior Royals had plenty to share regarding their interactions.
Rosary student Emma Silva ’23 described her first encounter with her little sister Isabella Contreras ’25: “We really just talked about everything. We talked about what classes she’s taking, sports, music, zodiac signs, and “Outer Banks”!”
Emma then went on to share what they realized they had in common: “We both realized that we constantly reference Tik Toks and enjoy listening to Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, and One Direction. We also both enjoy watching old Disney shows like ”Shake it Up!”.”
Emma’s little sister, Isabella, discussed the advice that Emma gave her: “She said to go to all the social events and try as many things as possible because it opens you up to so many more opportunities and experiences!”
Furthermore, Sarah Bradford ’23 described her first encounter with her little sister, Madeleine Cwiertny ’25: “We discussed dances and how she should definitely take all the opportunities she’s given such as joining clubs, meeting all sorts of people, going to school events, and most importantly—being kind!”
Sarah went on to share what her and Madeleine realized they had in common: “We both do track and enjoy spending time with our friends!”
Sarah’s little sister, Madeleine, revealed the advice that Sarah gave her: “My big sister emphasized getting involved, being open to meeting lots of new people, and going to lots of events.”
Emma, Sarah, Madeleine, and Isabella perfectly represent what the little sister and big sister pairings are for—forging new royal friendships!
