Ode to Burnout Kids
February 17, 2021
Carbonic anhydrase activates superficially
It fuels the frontal lobe, spreading thoughts like a tumbleweed
A burlesque imitation of my lost productivity
Why can’t my work just leave my life physically
I think John Locke was right about the mind starting clean
But I don’t think he’d say it changes if he was the one in the AP routine
The projection of my preplanned actions never meets the world to convene
All this time having to talk to people, yet never enough caffeine
