Last Friday, March 25, Rosary softball defeated their rivals, the Mater Dei Monarchs, in a 5-1 battle at Fountain Valley Sports Complex.
Senior Melissa Hanson explained, “It’s such a huge victory and sets the tone for our team. Mater Dei is one of our biggest competition, and to finally come together and beat them is amazing! It feels amazing to beat them.”
Anahi Pintado ‘23 described, “It’s a huge accomplishment for our team since it has been so long since we have beaten Mater Dei and the only other team to do that is basketball, so it feels really good to beat them.”
