Naranjo Sibs

Veralie Naranjo, Staff Writer

I am grateful for my siblings Mark and Gisselle Naranjo. I don’t know what I’d do without them. They have been with me through thick and thin.

Each of them has different personalities I can turn to when I need help with something. I can turn to my brother Mark when I need help with my guy problems or when I need help with my homework since he is more patient with me. My sister Gisselle is the complete opposite of my brother, she isn’t patient so whenever I ask her for help with my homework she would call me “dumb” (with sisterly love) and walk away. She has this amazing personality that very few people have when you first meet someone. You instantly just fall in love with her and want to become one of her Instagram followers.

Since we are siblings, we are obligated to fight once in a while. When two of us are fighting, the third person is usually on both sides to see who is in their wrongs so that the other can apologize and move on from it. But when we do fight, we make sure we solve the problem before the other person leaves the house because you never know if they will return.

My brother and sister are my best friends. I never had a friend who isn’t my blood to call my best friend because friends always come and go. But, with your family, you can count on them to be there for you no matter how bad the situation is.

I’m beyond excited to say what I’m thankful for this thanksgiving because my siblings deserve the world.
