Open House: Dates Moves
October 28, 2020
On Monday, October 26th and Tuesday, October 27th, Rosary Academy planned to have their socially-distant Open House. However, due to high winds, fires, poor air quality, and evacuations, Open House had to be postponed to November 9th and 10th.
Many Royal Ambassadors, including myself, were planning on attending the Open House to work some of the stations but later received the news that the dates had been moved.
Some Rosary families were even forced to evacuate their homes to ensure their safety or in danger of having to evacuate their homes. Junior Ambassador Elena Walz’s ’22 family nearly had to evacuate. She states, “One of my favorite parts of doing campus tours/shadows/open houses is meeting all the different families and finding ways to focus on the parts of Rosary that most appeal to them. I really enjoy meeting so many different kinds of people and being able to explore all the activities that I am involved in with each of them.”
Our thoughts and prayers go out to those families who had to leave their homes. We hope to see families when it’s safer on November 9th and 10th.
