If you’ve never been to a concert, you are missing out. Concerts are a great place to have fun, forget about life, and dance the night off. Our Royals have been to a ton of concerts, and each has a little to say about their experiences.

Our first Royal, Isabella Pasino ‘20 expresses, “Throughout my life, I have been to 2015, 2016 and 2017 Jingle Ball concert, Wango Tango, Harry Styles, Sam Smith, Panic! at the Disco, and Childish Gambino, and I can say for all of them that each concert was a whole different experience. I always make sure to go to concerts where I know the artist is good live, because it just makes everything better.”

Senior Juliana Poggi explains, “I’ve been to Childish Gambino, Harry Styles and Panic! at the Disco, and for me, concerts are more fun depending on who you go with. If you have someone that is equally going to scream their heart out, it’s much more fun.”

Paige Sokol ‘21 says, “I went to a Taylor Swift concert as well as Brett Eldredge, Niall Horan, and Wango Tango. I really enjoy outdoor concerts because if it’s at night, and the sun is going down, it looks really beautiful.”

Junior Sascha Portero says, “I got to see Shawn Mendes, P!NK, Marc Anthony, and Katy Perry live, and they were the best nights of my life. My favorite would have to be Shawn Mendes because his music is just amazing.”

Elena Walz ‘22 says, “My favorite concert that I’ve been too would have to be Panic! at the Disco. They’re so energetic and so good live.”

Lastly, Senior Abigail Arrington expresses, “I saw Imagine Dragons, Taylor Swift, and the Jonas Brothers. During the Imagine Dragon’s concert, I was chewing gum, and during one of their songs, my gum fell out and into my hair, and I had to wait until I got home to get it out. It was a really sticky situation.”

If you haven’t already, the Royal Reporter recommends at least going to one concert. Concerts are a great way to forget about school or just life in general. To find out more about your artist and where they might be playing, check out the link down below.
