Recently, Royals have noticed a new face around campus, frequently acting as a substitute teacher. Who is this mysterious new face? What exactly does he do? Where does he come from? Well, his name is Mr. Wilson, and here’s his life story. You asked- we delivered.

RR: So, what exactly do you do here?

Mr. Wilson: I’m the on-campus substitute teacher, which means I cover any sub needs as they come up. I also help with marketing and communications; I help send the emails students receive.

RR: Where did you go to school?

Mr. Wilson: I went to Servite and then LMU- go lions – but I have three sisters who all went to Rosary. I’m now a Royal myself.

RR: What prior jobs have you had?

Mr. Wilson: I did something called the Disney College Program- you work in the theme park while you’re also taking business classes with them, so I sold ice cream inside the park. Then I started doing public relations for Disneyland. After that, I did tourism for Newport Beach, and now I’m here.

RR: What are some hobbies you have?

Mr. Wilson: I love traveling when given the opportunity; I’ve been to Japan and Peru where I trekked Machu Picchu for three days. I would love to visit more of Southeast Asia and Singapore, not just because of “Crazy Rich Asians”, although I do love that movie. I’d also like to go to more places in the United States, like Washington D.C.

RR: What are some fun facts about you?

Mr. Wilson: Well, I have an enormously large family- over fifty first cousins. I love all music EXCEPT country, which is the bane of my existence. I really like alternative, pop, and my guilty pleasure is definitely Taylor Swift. I saw her live during her Reputation stadium tour.

And there you have it, Royals – the complete and unabridged story of Mr. Wilson’s life.
