It is time to talk cereal. Cereal-ously, no Trix here. We are exploring the meaning behind Life and the Froot behind the Loop. Whether you are coo-coo for Coco Puffs or hooked on Lucky Charms, we want to know what our Rosary Royals think make these cereals so Special (K).

These Royals shared their thoughts – and sometimes intense feelings- about their favorite cereal.

Taylor De La Rosa ‘19 says, “My favorite is Cinnamon Toast Crunch, because I really like the mixture of the sweet yet cinnamon flavor. I only eat cereal with almond milk though, because the water-y milk balances out the overwhelming amount of sugar.”

Margarita Diaz ‘19 exclaims, “I am obsessed with Coco Puffs, because I love chocolate anything! I even eat Coco Puffs with chocolate milk. I have it every morning on the side of my Dunkin Donuts coffee.”

Alexandra Samawi ‘19 says, “I can’t really pick a favorite- I like that I have a variety and can choose between all types of cereal. If I had to choose just one, I guess I would have to pick Cinnamon Toast Crunch. It is a really hard choice though, because there are so many different types of good cereal.”

Vanesa Farooq ‘20 includes, “I have a strong passion for Honey Nut Cheerios. It is a classic cereal, and you can never go wrong with it. It is not too sweet, but is not bland. Also, I believe that you should only have this cereal with Trader Joe’s 2% fat milk.”

Cailey Rembert ‘20 disagrees,“Honestly, I hate cereal. It is overrated. It is typical. It is boring. Instead, I eat muffins in the morning, because cereal has too much sugar.”
