Visit Rosary between late January to early March, and you’ll see our school decked out in bright yellow and red posters. Though people usually focus on the paint swatch covered bathrooms, both teams do an amazing job on the posters. This year, Red’s pub theme is Food, and Gold’s is Decades. Both themes had tons of material to work with and the result was an abundance of creative posters. The Royal Reporter decided to interview a bunch of Royals and hear which posters were the best of the best.

Kylie Villanueva ’19: “The Emperor’s New Groove poster is my favorite because it’s my favorite movie and I like how someone wanted to make that poster in particular. LOL”

Nicole Garcia ’19: “I love the poster with all the languages on it! I think it’s really pretty and different than all the other posters.”

Juliana Maldonado’ 18: “The Chicken Little poster is hilarious. That little chicken is messed up and it makes me laugh every time I pass by.”

Maya Gonzales ’19:“Not gonna lie, I really like the Red team’s Italian Ice one. It’s simple but looks really good and looks almost to scale.”

Alexandra Samawi ’19: “So I think Jojo Siwa is a horrible dancer and has a strange YouTube channel and even stranger singing voice – but I like the fact that we have her face on a poster.”

Hayley Heil ’19: “I love Burger King a lot, so passing by the logo everyday on my way to class makes me happy.”

Overall, this year was a major success for pub. The student body loved both themes and many posters are adored. Which is your favorite Red and Gold poster? Let the Royal Reporter know in the comments.
