On Friday, October 19, the Royals had a miraculous “Fall Break.”

While many Royals were surprised to see this random Friday marked with “no school” on the calendar, everyone was excited to sleep in and have a day off from their normal school routine.

Here’s what some of the Rosary girls chose to do with their day off.

Sophomore Tara Fishman spent the day with her best friends. Tara shared, “I got to sleep in, go get coffee, and have a chill morning which made it super nice to have a day off. I was able to be productive and get some appointments out of the way and get my homework done so I could enjoy the rest of my long weekend.”

Junior Haley Haroutoonian and a group of her fellow juniors spent an eventful day together. Haley exclaimed, “My friends and I went to the ‘Drake and Migos’ concert at the Forum in Inglewood. We spent all day getting ready and taking pictures. The concert was so much fun. It was nice to have the whole day to spend with my friends getting ready for the exciting evening”.

Senior Isabella Lopez spent the day relaxing and treating herself. She stated, “With such a stressful week full of tests and work, it was so nice to have the day off. I enjoyed using the day to get my nails done and just simply relax.”

Mia Saucedo ‘21 is on the dance team at Rosary. She spent the day at dance practice getting ready for the Servite football game that evening. She said, “It was nice not having to stress about school work while at practice. I was able to focus more.”

Junior Hailey Morris spent a day at the Brea Mall with her closest friends. “After our day of shopping, my friends and I did what we would normally do on a Friday night. We went to the Servite football game and got In-N-Out after.”

The surprising day off was clearly much needed for our busy Royals. Lucky for us, another day off is just around the corner on Friday, November 2.  However, if you interested in furthering your leadership skills, TACSC will be on campus that day to lead a leadership day.
