This Saturday, March 24th, Rosary hosted the annual Spring Fling dance. This year’s theme was “Black Lights. White Out,” and the night consisted of dancing, fun activities like cornhole and photo boothing, and an ice cream truck.

In preparation for the dance, Royals got ready with friends and (of course) took tons of cute group photos. Some Royals even went as far as creating matching outfits.

Senior Jenna Fishman says, “We made similar shirts for Red and Gold, and everyone seemed to like them. We knew we wanted to wear all white and match, so we bought shirts from Michaels and designed them ourselves. It was Chloe [Ruffier] who came up with the idea to do the letters vertically.”

Upon arriving at the dance, students received one ticket that would allow them to get ice cream from “Archie’s Ice Cream” truck. Senior Erika Campos says, “I liked how Rosary booked an ice cream truck this year. It was different from the shaved ice we usually get, and I think I liked this better.”

In addition to the ice cream truck, Rosary also booked an amazing DJ from Honored Occasions. The DJ not only brought great music, but black lights to add to Rosary’s decor of black lights placed around the gym. Junior Christel Alino says, “There wasn’t one song I didn’t like. The DJ played good music. My friends and I sang and danced all night.”

Students from all grade levels enjoyed the dance and made lots of memories together. Freshman Amelia Fiorentino mentions, “I had such a good time dancing with my friends and enjoying the night. We grew closer together by just having fun.”

The overall night was a success, and Royals can’t wait till the next dance!
