We all know that there are many talented Royals at Rosary Academy. The Royal Reporter decided to bring one of our most artistic juniors into the spotlight.

She loves belting Hamilton in her spare time. She can recite Heathers or The Book of Mormon musical perfectly. It’s Allison Armanino!

Thankfully, her love for musical theater also extends to our very own Tri-School Theater. Allison is one of the fashion designers behind the scenes for every Tri-School production this school year.

Allison tells The Royal Reporter, “Tri-School has opened up a whole new world to me. Everyone was extremely welcoming and theater as a whole encouraged me to keep making all of the stuff I do.”

She also designs costumes for events outside of school like Anime Impulse at the Fairplex Convention Center, and she is always working on a project throughout the year.

The Royal Reporter asked her how she makes time for school, Tri-School, and making costumes. She responded, “I don’t have time. But despite the late nights and constant driving, it really pays off.”

In her spare time, you can always find her drawing or designing vivid and artistic clothing. Just this past Spirit Week, she dressed up as a chic celebrity and walked down Rosary’s Red Carpet.

She is also a talented sketch artist. Often she receives requests for pieces of art and designs.

Since Allison is a junior, we asked what college she is aiming to get into. She said, “For college I would love to go to either Fashion Institute of Technology in New York or Central Saint Martins in London. Hopefully I can make it in with my portfolio.”

Allison is a caring and thoughtful individual always willing to lend a hand to anyone who asks her. Her bright imagination inspires those around her, including her friends.

Friend and fellow junior Caitlin McClure says, “She is ridiculously creative and she can make costumes that I couldn’t even think off.”

Allison Armanino is admired by her peers and friends alike for being an open-minded, kind artist who pursues experimental designs. We can’t wait to see what she creates next!
