January 9th of 2017 was my first day at Rosary as a freshman (I’m a transfer student).

Before I transferred schools, I was very nervous and did not know what to expect. I was hoping to make at least one friend before the first day ended and start memorizing my schedule.

Rosary Academy made my transfer between schools very smooth as I was placed in the classes appropriate for me. I received enough challenge, yet I wasn’t too overwhelmed by the work. Many people said I came to Rosary at the right time because in a few weeks Rosary Academy would begin to start practicing and preparing for the grandiose Red and Gold performance in the middle of March.

I wasn’t really sure what was going to happen at kick-off (which was very fun and exciting), but it was so much more fun than I imagined it to be in my head. The whole campus was decorated in posters made overnight by the captains on Red and Gold, and everybody was in wacky outfits that represented their team. I got placed on Red Props and felt really excited to have the responsibility to help create, build, and paint entire sets!

Thanks to Rosary, I made a lot of new friends with the other students and teachers, I got to enhance my education, and I’ve become a lot more satisfied with my work and environment.
